10K Giveaway

MONTGOMERY, AL, March 26, 2021

A Charitable Fundraising Event of the Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club

The Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club has a long standing tradition of hosting a spectacular signature event as our primary fundraiser. This year, 2021, with the lingering threat from the COVID 19 pandemic, we are altering our course to conduct an effective fundraiser that offers participants the option to attend virtually or in person, as they deem appropriate. To that end, we have designed a 10K Giveaway program organized as a hybrid online / realtime drawdown event. Tickets are $100 each and each ticket provides for attendence virtually or in person (with an RSVP only, as limited spots are available). The event will be an entertaining evening of informative conversation with Montgomery Sunrise Rotary leaders, some of our local sponsors and information from our charitable recipient, The River Region Trails organization. Montgomery is a city in desperate need of improvement to our pedestrian infrastructure. River Region Trails is a nonprofit organization committed to developing a network of bicycle and pedestrian greenways, parks, and outdoor resources in the River Region.

Greenways connect people with places in an active way, enabling them to walk or cycle to run errands, commute to work, or socialize. We believe that developing a trail network will increase the City’s social health by connecting people from different neighborhoods, allowing people to experience a sense of community, and creating stronger social connections. We also believe that trails and modern green spaces will help the River Region become a Destination City for new families, young professionals, recent college graduates, and small business and startup owners.

Join us for this celebration and fundraising opportunity, March 26th, 2021 at 6:30pm online or in person at the RSA Activity Center. Tickets available in limited quantity online, or see a member of the Montgomery Sunrise Rotary club.
